These step-by-step instructions will help you to apply vinyl decals and vinyl lettering.
Clean area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol to remove any grease and grime.
Line up and level using the lettering or decals. *Do not use the backing or transfer tape as your guides*
Tape the top middle, bottom middle, and left side. More places can be used if a larger decal is being set or if it's windy.
Peel back transfer tape about half-way, from the right side, making sure the vinyl is stuck onto the transfer tape.
Cut backing off.
Using a credit card or some type of hard flat surface, squeegee from the middle and arc up past the edge, middle and arc down past the edge. Do this until you have reached the end of the transfer tape.
Peel off all the tape from the left side.
Peel off backing from the transfer tape, making sure the finyl is stuck onto the transfer tape.
Using the same arcing motion, repeat from the middle fo the vinyl to the left edge.
Re-squeegee to make sure vinyl is stuck onto the surface.
Slowly peel off the transfer tape using a 45 degree angle and pull it straight down. This helps make sure the vinyl stays on the surface you are installing on.
